Northrop Grumman's Aeronautics Systems sector communications team is hiring a Public Relations Representative to support the growing employee communications needs in the business across locations including Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Clearfield, Utah and Iuka, Mississippi. The candidate will report to the communications manager for the Air Dominance division with specific tasks supporting internal communications efforts, including some external communications activities when assigned. The role is based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Using an objectives-based approach, the candidate will support the formulation of compelling stories to deliver measurable results. The candidate must be competent in execution of an integrated communications plan and be able to coordinate requirements with teams in a matrix environment. This requires the candidate to be detail oriented with an ability to consistently meet assigned deadlines. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing or a related field and a minimum of 2 years of experience, or a Master's degree in prior fields and 0 years of experience. Experience building communications campaigns and executing to completion Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong judgement, problem solving and organizational skills, and superb attention to detail. Willingness and ability to receive Department of Defense security clearance. Proficient in Associated Press Style. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Communications and leadership experience in the defense industry preferred. Department of Defense Secret ClearanceSalary Range: $60,500 - $90,700
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
