We are seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide hands on care to an individual with intellectual and other developmental disabilities. Support Service professionals assist individuals and families living in their personal home. Services provided are personalized and directed by the individual receiving supports and may include but are not limited to:
Assistance with personal hygiene
Activities/outings
Social engagement
Shopping
The schedule for this position is 10-15 hours
Support staff needed to assist a young woman with gaining independence in her life. Work on independence while managing personal needs and appointments, developing relationships and exploring the community.
Paid trainings, including CPR/First Aid
DSP's assist with creating opportunities for individuals to live full and productive lives by:
Assisting with participation and exploration of the community
Cultivating and expanding independent living skills
Assisting with development of meaningful and personal relationships
Implementing strategies to achieve individuals' personal goals
Eligible candidates must have a high school degree/GED and a current driver's license with less than three points on their driving record.
