Job Title: Student Services Staff Principal Responsibilities The Student Services staff at LIU are responsible for the following: 1. Provide new and returning students with correct and up-to-date program and academic information 2. Assist new and enrolling students in the enrollment and re-enrollment process (please see Enrollment Procedures) 3. Provide interpretation services to potential and re-enrolling students 4. Be up-to-date with administrative and enrollment procedures 5. Keep student files up-to-date 6. Input student data (from Class Feedback and End of Program Evaluation Forms) 7. Track student enrollment/registration rates 8. Aid the Student Services Coordinator and/or Director of ESL Programs in projects related to the organization of the Modern Language Center 9. Send periodic e-mail blasts to current and potential students Qualifications: Must possess a high school diploma; must be proficient in English and fluent in at least one foreign language. Must have some office administrative experience; computer skills; good interpersonal and customer service skills. LIU is an equal opportunity employer.
