Psychiatrist Full Time or Part Time Opportunities!

Impact Health is a nurse practitioner group serving skilled nursing facilities across the state with both medical and psychiatric care. Impact Mental Health has openings for a Connecticut board certified psychiatrist. The psychiatrist will provide psychiatric consultation evaluations supported by our team of APRNs, LCSWs, Psychologists, Medical Physicians and Geriatricians.

Location: Multiple Locations, CT

Responsibilities:

Provide person centered care using best practices
Work within a team of social workers, therapists, nurses, and physicians to coordinate care within Impact and the skilled nursing facility
Provide collaboration with medical team as needed
Submit required documentation within 24 hours of encounter
Adhere to state regulations within SNF setting
Provide assessment, diagnostic, and treatment services
Provide consultation as needed to APRNs on the behavioral health team

Experience:

Experience in skilled nursing facilities, hospitals, residential care, geriatric care, and psychiatric outpatient preferred

Qualifications:

Active license to practice psychiatry in Connecticut
Experience working with adults and older adults
Strong communication, assessment, diagnostic, and treatment skills
