Job Opening: Medical Director - Psychiatry

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and expand a substance use disorder service line focused on comprehensive addiction treatment.
- Educate and mentor trainees in the field of Psychiatry/Addiction Medicine.
- Engage in potential research opportunities aimed at advancing the field.
- Provide leadership and strategic direction across various hospitals and clinics.
- Operate within an integrated practice setting that includes inpatient, outpatient, rounds, and clinic duties.
- Utilize the Epic documentation system/EMR for patient management.
- Demonstrate strong administrative capabilities and clinical expertise.
- Collaborate with an experienced team to treat patients using evidence-based practices.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Psychiatry.
- Board Certified in Addiction Medicine/Psychiatry.
- Clean malpractice/license history.
- Completion of fellowship in Addiction Medicine/Psychiatry.
- 3+ years of professional experience in Psychiatry/Addiction Medicine (excluding residency/fellowship).
- Previous leadership experience is preferred.
- Open to H1B and J1 visa candidates.
License and Certification Requirements:
- MI state license (or willingness to obtain).
- DEA registration (or willingness to obtain).
- Board certifications in relevant specialties are mandatory.
