As a Psychiatrist, you will help diagnose and treat a range of mental health conditions, ultimately improving patients' well-being and quality of life. Most of the patients have been involved in traumatic accidents and need help healing from the consequences of associated injuries such as PTSD, traumatic brain injury, and depression.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments to diagnose mental health conditions and develop tailored treatment plans
  • Provide evidence-based psychotherapeutic interventions and medication management
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care, including OT / PT / Speech therapy
  • Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and evolving needs
  • Stay current with advancements in psychiatry to deliver state-of-the-art care
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with regulations
  • Uphold ethical standards and provide a safe and empathetic environment for patients

Qualifications:

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) with specialization in Psychiatry
  • Board certification or eligibility for board certification in Psychiatry
  • Valid medical license to practice Psychiatry in Texas

Willingness and ability to travel to remote clinics once a month in South Texas
