Locums provider will have a case load of 12-15 PPD. Patients have serious mental illness, most commonly psychotic disorders. There is excellent support staff, including nursing and social work. Onsite primary care providers assess medical conditions and take medical consults.
Experience with inpatient psychiatry is preferred, including experience with long-acting injectables and Clozapine. There is an average of 2-3 new admissions per week. Patient encounters per shift are 12.
