Central Vermont Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
•  Clinical Role:
•  Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible psychiatric nurse practitioner
•  Must have post training experience in psychiatric or substance abuse (willing to consider RN experience)
•  Need is ASAP
•  X-Waiver a plus, not required
•  Work schedule: Monday- Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
•  Patient Census: 20-25 patients per day
•  Outpatient Clinic Setting
•  Provide medication evaluation and management, with ongoing monitoring
•  Conduct clinical evaluations and physical health screenings, refer out as needed
•  Provide MAT services; prescribe medications for the treatment of Opioid Use Disorder (OUD)
•  Order and interpret lab testing
•  Diagnose medical conditions and illnesses
•  Promote total body health through education patients and families
•  Rotating Call
•  Lead role on an interdisciplinary team; work to build a program with decision making and implementing processes
•  Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and protocols
•  Foster a culture of high performance and continuous improvement
