Opportunity: Psychiatrist- Medical Director
Full time, employed position (in person/onsite)
Monday - Friday, 8 hours/day. No weekends

The Medical Director will be responsible for overseeing clinical operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and implementing effective management strategies. The Medical Director is part of the multidisciplinary behavioral health clinical team with client centered care as the foundation of our model while demonstrating measurable outcomes. The Medical Director is responsible for supporting, planning and executing strategies for program continuation and growth. This position provides clinical supervision of the assigned Psychiatric Nurse Partitioners and must have the ability to think globally, solve problems and have good decision-making skills, including critical thinking skills.
Required Education and Experience
Licensed by the State Board of Medical Examiners to practice medicine in NYS.
Maintain proper credentialing for NYS OP, NYS licensure, DEA, NPI and other required entities
Board Certified internal or family medicine with one or more of the following: certification by a) the American Society of Addiction Medicine, b) boarded by the American Board of Addiction Medicine and/or c) board certification in Psychiatry
Board certification in addiction medicine from a certifying entity appropriate to their primary or specialty board certification and; a Federal DATA 2000 waiver (buprenorphine-certified)
Minimum of five years experience in a behavioral health setting is preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google and familiar with electronic health records
Ability to successfully pass the Medicaid exclusion screening and background check
