Facility in Bismarck, ND seeking Inpatient Psychiatry locums coverage
Rates: $280/hr Holiday - 1.5 x regular rate Nightly Call - $700 Night Call Back - $300/hr Orientation - $150/hr (typically 4-8 hours in total) Facility in North Dakota is seeking a 0.6 FTE Adult Psychiatrist to serve their inpatient psychiatry unit on a rotating schedule, with flexible availability (one or two weeks on, with equivalent time off). Position Overview: - Schedule: Flexible weekly rotation, one or two evenings on-call per week, plus one weekend on-call per month
- On-site Duties: Daily rounds on the adult psychiatry unit, participation in multi-disciplinary team meetings, communication with families or natural supports, psychiatric consultations for inpatients, documentation
- Call Duties: Pager on-call with 2.5 hours gratis; callback rates apply for direct patient contact hours beyond gratis
- Caseload: Average 12 patients per day; admissions average 0-2 per day, with a potential increase at higher census to 2-3
- Patient Profile: Behavioral health conditions including suicidal ideation, active aggression, and other adult inpatient psychiatric cases
Requirements: - Board Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Adult Psychiatry
- Licensure: Active North Dakota license or IMLC (Letter of Qualification in hand)
- Certifications: BLS, DEA
- Experience: Residency in Adult Psychiatry required
