The position focuses on providing care in a voluntary inpatient unit, managing a range of psychiatric, addiction, and dual-diagnosis cases. You will work alongside a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care. Responsibilities include addiction treatment, detoxification, rehabilitation referrals, and managing dual diagnosis cases. This opportunity may extend beyond the initial assignment period.

Responsibilities and Duties:
• Provide psychiatric care in a voluntary inpatient unit
• Manage addiction treatment cases, including alcohol and drug abuse
• Oversee detoxification processes and refer patients to appropriate rehabilitation services
• Handle dual diagnosis cases (primary psychiatric and secondary addiction diagnosis)
• Collaborate with a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and multi-disciplinary team
• Utilize Epic electronic health record system
• Conduct patient evaluations and develop treatment plans
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as necessary
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations
