A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Credentialing Specialist
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Summit, NJ .
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Credentialing Specialist Compensation

  • Pay rate: $30-$35/hr , depending on experience

  • Benefits offered after 90 days of employment

  • 401(k) with company match available after 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Credentialing Specialist Highlights

  • Must have provider credentialing experience confirming qualifications

  • Must be organized , detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities

  • Strong communication, data analysis , and independent work skills required

  • Proficient computer skills are essential

Credentialing Specialist Responsibilities

  • Enforce compliance with regulatory standards and quality assurance policies

  • Process credentialing applications for initial applicants and reappointments (125-200 quarterly)

  • Verify and maintain credentialing data such as accreditation, licensure, and facility privileges

  • Ensure legal, federal, and state compliance in processing applications

  • Collect, verify, and track provider information, including education, licensure, and training

  • Enter and maintain provider data in the Echo database

  • Prepare materials for Credentials Committee, MEC, and Board of Trustees meetings

  • Schedule and occasionally attend and take minutes for site-based medical staff department meetings

  • Process and collect medical staff dues

  • Track license and certification expirations for all providers

  • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of provider records

  • Perform other administrative or credentialing-related duties as assigned

Credentialing Specialist Requirements

  • Must have experience credentialing healthcare providers

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to research, analyze , and manage large volumes of data

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective professional relationships

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and database management systems

  • Echo database experience preferred but not required
