TrueBuilt is seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission of transforming the way builders approach preconstruction. Acting as a subject matter expert, our Account Executive plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between our product development team and the needs of the preconstruction industry.
What you'll do:
- Prospect, qualify and manage new business opportunities, acting as an SME in the preconstruction industry.
- Manage and grow a robust sales pipeline, meeting and exceeding revenue targets by strategically positioning TrueBuilt's solutions and services.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to preconstruction software and workflows.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities in the preconstruction software landscape.
- Act as a product champion, providing insights and client feedback to our product development team.
Who you'll work with:
- Build and maintain relationships with prospective and current customers, to identify and understand product fit, adoption and opportunity.
- Partner with our Business Development Rep to address and engage the incredible TAM.
- Work with our experienced Estimator/Solutions Engineer on sales demos and presentations to showcase TrueBuilt's preconstruction software and its value proposition.
Where you'll go:
- Collaborate with TrueBuilt's Estimator and Product team to win new business and onboard new customers to the TrueBuilt Platform.
- Travel to and from client sites.
- Travel for trade shows, conventions and conferences, as necessary.
About you:
- 4+ years' experience in a full-cycle SaaS sales role, owning the process from prospecting to close.
- Background demonstrating success in developing, maintaining and forecasting pipeline.
- Track record of meeting and exceeding assigned quota in past SaaS sales roles.
- Experience using CRM systems (we use HubSpot).
- Desire to build strong relationships across our industry; this role does require travel, for client visits and trade shows.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify opportunities, drive insights, and make data-driven decisions.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams, bridging the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Professional understanding of the preconstruction industry, preferred but not required.
