Description & Requirements

The Proposal Specialist works directly with partners and other senior client service professionals across the firm to manage the proposal process and create clear, concise, compelling, and client-centered proposal documents. The Proposal Specialist also helps maintain the integrity of all proposal documentation, coordinates workflow and draft reviews through established timelines, writes client-centered language based on the opportunity and/or industry, and serves as a trusted business advisor for client service professionals
How you will contribute:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned opportunities, overseeing the planning and approach for proposals and pursuits. Evaluate proposal requirements, develop project plans, and hold internal teams accountable to timelines.
  • Act as a subject matter professional on the firm's proposal processes, tools, and content, while promoting best practices throughout all stages of an opportunity.
  • Research, prepare for, and facilitate kickoff calls for RFP and proactive proposals. For strategic opportunities, collaborate with production specialists to develop insights packs that support the overarching pursuit strategy.
  • Collaborate with the proposal content team to identify reusable content, refresh existing service descriptions, and ensure consistency of statistics and qualifications across the proposal content management tool.
  • Develop and maintain a solid understanding of the firm's core services and solutions, as well as the industries to which the role is aligned.
  • Adhere to proposal project timelines for RFPs/RFIs to ensure content from legal/risk can be sourced or reviewed, and internal reviews can be effectively conducted

  • The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Resourceful with the ability find and create solutions to overcome obstacles
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree
  • 1 year experience in related field
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1 - 3 years experience in related field
