Proposal Estimator

Salary Range: $56K - $83K Permanent Position with Benefits Our client located in Canton; Ohio is seeking an Electrical/Automation Proposal Estimator. Primary duties include producing detailed technical specifications and estimates from RFQs by calculating estimates using your knowledge of machine design. Requirements: High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's Degree or Associate's preferred. Must have 3 years' minimum experience in industrial estimating OR relevant engineering experience. Experience in machine design with an understanding of automated systems. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Experience with AutoCAD a plus. Experience/Knowledge with Field service and system commissioning is a plus. Duties: Review and interpret electrical documents and schematic drawings. Manage vendor pricing. Create accurate cost estimates from start to finish. Attend pre-bid meetings and occasional site visits. Creating clearly written proposals. Handle contract and scope review. Changes in order pricing. Maintain good client relationships and follow-ups post-bid submission. Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
