Hybrid: Mostly remote; may require face-to-face monthly meetings within the greater DC area OVERVIEW: The Federal Proposal Coordinator plays a key role in managing the full lifecycle of federal proposal development. This position supports proposal projects from initiation through final executive review, ensuring compliance with federal guidelines and adherence to internal processes. The Coordinator will work closely with a lean, agile team-including writers, proposal managers, capture managers, and business development professionals-to craft compelling narratives, maintain rigorous timelines, and ensure a seamless review process across multiple proposal phases. This role is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented professional eager to play a central role in federal proposal development. The Federal Proposal Coordinator will deliver high-quality, compliant proposals while enjoying a clear path for rapid career progression within a small, agile company REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: -3 years demonstrated experience managing and supporting proposal development -3 years demonstrated Technical Writing & Editing -Proficiency in Document Management and deep understanding of the proposal development process -Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Microsoft Project, Acrobat, and SharePoint; ability to quickly learn and operate critical chain software -Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional writing and editing abilities -Analytical Skills: Extraordinary critical thinking skills and the ability to comprehend complex technical documents REQUIRED CORE SKILLS
Federal Proposal Management & Coordination: -Demonstrated experience in managing or supporting federal proposals, ensuring adherence to federal guidelines and contractual requirements -Experience in managing RFQ/RFI requests with precision and efficiency Proposal Development & Writing: -Ability to craft detailed outlines and compelling narratives that translate complex technical and operational information into clear, persuasive proposals -Familiarity with federal contracting processes, including FAR, FedConnect, SBA, and related acquisition vehicles Project and Team Coordination: -Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and coordinate diverse tasks in a small team setting -Experience in facilitating cross-functional collaboration and ensuring accountability in fast-paced environments Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Acrobat, SharePoint, and familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project). Analytical and Detail-Oriented: -Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail for compliance validation and process adherence. Communication: -Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and effectively Ad Hoc Flexibility:

Process-Driven: Follow documented processes and templates to drive efficiency and continuous improvement in proposal submissions MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: -BA/S with degree OR 6 years professional experience proposal management without degree -Degree in Journalism, Project Management, STEM, Marketing or related field is a plus -Citizenship: US Citizenship required. -Flexibility: Willingness to adjust work schedules to meet deadlines outside of regular working hours when needed.
