About the Role:

The Property Operations Maintenance role is essential for ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our facilities at Harborside, HB. This position is responsible for maintaining the physical integrity of the property, which includes performing routine inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance tasks. The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing tenant satisfaction by addressing maintenance requests promptly and effectively. Additionally, this role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure compliance with safety regulations and property standards. Ultimately, the goal is to create a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for all residents and visitors.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in property maintenance or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in property maintenance or a related trade.
  • Experience with building management software.
  • Knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance tasks on plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general building structures.
  • Respond to tenant maintenance requests in a timely manner, ensuring high levels of customer service.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and inventory management.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance projects.

The required skills for this role include strong problem-solving abilities, which are essential for diagnosing and addressing maintenance issues effectively.
