Job Summary
A premier resort-style apartment community in Princeton, NJ, is seeking an experienced and energetic Property Manager to oversee daily operations. This role is ideal for a seasoned property management professional or a strong Assistant Property Manager looking to take the next step. The right candidate will have a passion for creating an exceptional living experience for residents while effectively leading a team and managing property operations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of a 636-unit luxury community with high-end amenities
- Lead and develop the on-site leasing and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations
- Manage leasing, renewals, resident relations, and retention strategies
- Maintain the financial health of the property, including budget management and reporting
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal housing regulations
- Partner with vendors and contractors to maintain and enhance property appeal
- Implement strategic marketing and leasing initiatives to maximize occupancy
- Utilize Yardi AI for financials, leasing, and operational management
Requirements Qualifications
- Minimum of three years of property management experience or a strong Assistant Property Manager ready for a leadership role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and manage a team
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Proven ability to manage budgets, financial reports, and key performance indicators
- Knowledge of leasing, compliance, and housing regulations
- Driver's license preferred; background check required
Benefits Schedule and Benefits
- Closed on Saturdays (Employees receive Saturday plus one additional day off during the week, but not Sundays)
- Winter hours: Property closes at 4:00 PM
