Property Manager to join their team. Salary/Hourly Rate: $25/hr - $28/hr Position Overview: As a Property Manager, you will play a critical role in the success of our organization by overseeing the day-to-day operations of our housing units. You will be responsible for maintaining our properties, ensuring tenant satisfaction, and managing financial aspects related to property management. This position requires a compassionate individual who is committed to the values and mission of our non-profit organization. This is a 6 - 8+ week contract position. Responsibilities of the Property Manager:
- Tenant Relations: Develop and maintain positive relationships with tenants, addressing their concerns and ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently.
- Property Maintenance: Coordinate routine maintenance and repairs, ensuring properties are safe, clean, and well-maintained. Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve issues proactively.
- Financial Management: Manage property budgets, collect rent, and ensure timely payments. Work with the finance team to prepare financial reports and track expenditures.
- Compliance: Ensure all properties comply with local, state, and federal housing regulations. Stay updated on housing laws and implement necessary changes to policies and procedures.
- Community Engagement: Foster a sense of community among residents by organizing events and activities that promote social interaction and community building.
- Team Coordination: Supervise and support on-site staff, including maintenance workers and administrative personnel. Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team performance.
Required Experience/Skills for the Property Manager:
- Property Management experience.
- Experience with low-income housing.
- Customer service experience.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Property Manager:
- Strong understanding of housing regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
- Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree is preferred.
