Property Manager - NYC Mixed-Use (Retail + Condo/Co-op)
Location: Westchester, NY (M-Th in office; Fridays remote)
Compensation: $90-110k + Discretionary Bonus (up to 10%)
Seeking a Property Manager with a strong background in NYC-based mixed-use property management, including both retail and condo/co-op assets. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced urban environment and has a deep understanding of New York City real estate, regulations, and building operations.
Applicants must have direct NYC property management experience. Candidates with experience limited to Westchester or other regions outside NYC will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of a NYC retail and residential mixed-use portfolio.
- Oversee vendor services, maintenance schedules, and property inspections.
- Ensure compliance with NYC Local Laws and immediately address violations.
- Liaise with retail tenants, condo/co-op boards, and third-party management.
- Respond to and resolve maintenance issues under landlord's responsibility.
- Develop and manage annual operating and capital budgets.
- Supervise retail vanilla box and tenant fit-out construction projects.
- Maintain relationships with city agencies, BIDs, MTA, and local stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (required).
- Minimum of 3 years of property management experience with emphasis on NYC retail and condo/co-op buildings.
- Familiarity with NYC building systems, codes, Local Laws, and retail lease administration.
- Experience managing construction projects (common area and tenant improvements).
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

- Ability to work independently and travel within NYC as required.
- Strong Assistant Property Managers with NYC retail/co-op experience may be considered.
