Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for a Property Manager on behalf of our client, a non-profit organization focused on creating and preserving affordable housing in Chicago, IL. This is a full-time, permanent, direct-hire opportunity with benefits.

Responsibilities:
-Ensure adherence to leasing and occupancy policies while assisting in staff training.
-Manage all aspects of assigned properties, including leasing, compliance, maintenance, and tenant relations.
-Approve applicant files, leases, and inspections while overseeing the application and move-in process.
-Maintain occupancy-related duties such as lease renewals, tax credit compliance, and annual inspections.
-Monitor financial performance, budgets, rent collection, and delinquency management.
-Oversee regulatory compliance, documentation, reporting, and funder inspections.
-Ensure properties are well-maintained, coordinate capital improvements, and manage waiting lists efficiently.
-Supervise tenant collections, address resident concerns, and maintain accurate records in accordance with HUD, IHDA, and other regulatory guidelines.
-Participate in selection and appeals committees, ensuring maximum occupancy and minimal rental income loss.
Qualifications:
-3+ years of related property management and supervisory experience.
-Must have or be willing to obtain a real estate license.
-Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
Pay Rate:
