Property Manager Location: Highlandtown, Baltimore
Starting Salary: $59,990 (Based on experience) + Commission & Bonus Opportunities

Property Manager to lead operations at a premier Class A residential community in Highlandtown. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional who thrives in a fast-paced, autonomous environment. As a
one-person operation, you'll oversee both
property management and leasing responsibilities, ensuring operational excellence and a top-tier living experience for residents.
Key ResponsibilitiesLeasing & Occupancy Management - Manage all leasing activities while ensuring compliance with Fair Housing laws
- Screen and approve lease applications
- Implement retention strategies to maintain optimal occupancy
- Coordinate eviction proceedings with Property Accountants when necessary
Financial Management & Budget Oversight - Develop and manage annual budgets; monitor variances and control expenses
- Approve vendor invoices, track financials, and oversee payroll records
Property Operations & Maintenance - Conduct regular property inspections and address maintenance needs within budget
- Collaborate with maintenance staff to ensure timely unit turnovers and service resolutions
Marketing & Community Engagement - Promote the property to maximize curb appeal and leasing success
- Analyze market trends and competitive properties to improve leasing strategies
- Foster strong resident relationships through responsive communication and support
Leadership & Compliance - Hire, train, and supervise leasing and maintenance team members (as applicable)
- Provide performance feedback and support professional development
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
Administrative & Reporting Duties - Prepare operational and financial reports for ownership and stakeholders
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with applicable laws
- Coordinate staff scheduling, including emergency coverage when necessary
Qualifications - 1-2 years of property management experience (lease-up experience a plus)
- Proven leadership and team management abilities
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting and reporting
- Exceptional customer service and conflict-resolution skills
- Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office
