Our client, a family office real estate firm, is seeking a Property Manager and Operations professional to oversee the day-to-day functions of three residential building and few commercial spaces. The ideal candidate is tech savvy and has experience utilizing Appfolio, Clickup, Goggle Workspace, and Gemini. Salary: 70-90k base range + bonus + benefits + 401k match
Location: Onsite Monday - Friday in Midtown office
Core hours: 8:30-4:30pm
Responsibilities:
- Track internal project progress, SOP updates, and key compliance or legal deadlines
- Prepare reports, meeting summaries, and presentations for strategic planning
- Serve as the first point of contact for tenant inquiries and concerns
- Manage move-ins, move-outs, and unit turnover inspections
- Proactively assess tenant satisfaction and propose solutions to recurring issues
- Manage leasing cycle from listing to screening and lease execution
- Log, prioritize, and dispatch maintenance requests
- Track rent payments, late fees, and security deposits
- Maintain organized records of all communications and transactions
- Operate fluently in AppFolio, ClickUp, Google Workspace
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree
- 3+ years in NYC property management or operations
- NY Real Estate Salesperson License or Property Management Certification
- Familiarity with NYC compliance, leasing law, and DHCR rent regulations
