Willow Bridge is currently hiring for an onsite Property Management Intern to participate in the daily operations of the onsite management office and maintenance teams. This is a paid, full-time 9-week program from June 2nd - July 31st, 2025. It will cover the processes of leasing, bookkeeping, reporting, budgeting, marketing, maintenance, and management skills for onsite property management. You will be provided with training programs through e-learning and shadowing. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience of the daily operations in the property management industry.
Responsibilities The Property Management Intern will be responsible for assisting the onsite management team at a Willow Bridge Property Company community. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and an eagerness to learn.
- Learn how to interact with prospects in the following areas:
- Welcoming guests in the front office and answering phone calls
- Touring the community and completing a lease application & paperwork
- Learn how to interact with residents in the following areas:
- Completing rent collections, deposits, late notices, and posting rent
- Receiving move out notices, service requests, and resident transfers
- Learn how to inspect the property in the following areas:
- Walk vacant apartment homes, make readies, and complete service requests in property management software
- Preparing the office, model home, vacant apartment homes and tour path
- Community policy violation, repairs needed, landscaping check, etc.
- Check assigned email regularly
- Check in with assigned manager and internship program directors regularly to report progress, questions, and any concerns that may arise
- Work with team to actively post on community social pages including Instagram and Facebook and incorporate responding positively to all online reviews
Qualifications - Interest or desire to work in property management, real estate, or sales
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills and an enjoyment in meeting new people
- Skilled in basic math
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Ability to work in-person at Groves South Lamar for the duration of the program
- Ability to collaborate with team members and use available resources to effectively complete tasks
- Must be able to tour the community with clients, which includes walking the property and climbing stairs
- Will be a rising Junior or Senior for a degree in a Property Management, Real Estate, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field at the time of the first day of the program
