As a Property Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial performance and reporting of assigned properties. This includes monthly reporting, budgeting, reconciliations, and working closely with property managers and senior leadership.

Their portfolio includes a diverse mix of commercial and residential properties across the state. They are looking for a detail-oriented, motivated Property Accountant to join their dynamic team and contribute to the financial health of their operations.
Description
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for assigned properties.
Perform general ledger accounting, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
Reconcile tenant accounts, rent rolls, and CAM (Common Area Maintenance) charges.
Assist with budget preparation and variance analysis.
Ensure compliance with company policies, lease terms, and financial controls.
Liaise with property managers and external auditors as needed.
Maintain organized financial records and support documentation.
Profile
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2-5 years of experience in property or real estate accounting.
Strong understanding of GAAP and real estate financial reporting.
Proficiency in property management/accounting software (e.g., Yardi, MRI, or similar).
Strong Excel and analytical skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
