What You'll Do as a Property Accountant: - Manage full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of properties, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and variance reports.
- Perform bank reconciliations, journal entries, and accruals.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting for assigned properties.
- Work with property managers and asset managers to resolve accounting-related inquiries.
- Maintain and update records in Yardi.
- Support the year-end audit process and collaborate with external auditors.
Qualifications: - 2+ years of property accounting experience
- Proficiency in Yardi (required).
- Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
