Property Accountant
Location: Portland, OR - Hybrid flexible role
Summary:
Our client is seeking a Property Accountant to join their team. This role will manage financial operations for a commercial property portfolio. Responsibilities include accurate financial reporting, AP/AR management, general ledger maintenance, and property-specific accounting tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements.
- Manage AP/AR
- Maintain general ledger, perform reconciliations, and process journal entries.
- Handle CAM reconciliations and track property expenses.
- Assist with audits, budgets, and financial analysis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance preferred
- 1+ years property accounting experience (commercial real estate preferred).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Yardi, MRI) and MS Excel.
- Strong GAAP knowledge and analytical skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
