Job Description
POSITION OVERVIEW: The Property Accountability Manager will receive, store, maintain and establish storage for property.
LIST OF DUTIES:
• Analyzes authorized stockage levels and recommends revision of stockage level in support of the mission.
• Requisitions material and establishes delivery sequences to departments according to job order priorities and anticipated availability of material.
• Arranges for in-plant transfer of materials to meet production schedules, and with department supervisors for repair and assembly of material and its transportation to various departments.
• Maintains property related records, reviews inventory reports, and work orders to determine types, quantities, and availability of required material.
• Monitors and provides materials and property as required.
• Manually load or unload freight cars, trucks, or other transporting devices; unpacks, shelves, or places items in proper storage locations. Visually inspect tools or measures with micrometer for wear or defects and reports damaged or worn-out equipment to superiors.
• Verifies property and materials against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages.
• Must be able to work without supervision, lead small groups independently, and provide written and oral briefings and updates to program leadership.
• Performs other qualified duties as required.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Demonstrated proven and verifiable experience including ethics, ability and professionalism of the highest standards are required for this position.
• Three years experience with Standard Army Management Information Systems (STAMIS)
• Detailed knowledge of supply systems, policies, and procedures,
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
• A U.S. Government SECRET Security Clearance is required. Must maintain a Secret Clearance for the duration of employment.
• US Citizenship is required.
• Must currently have or be capable of completing a criminal background check to access military installations and to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization.
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and written.
• Must have a valid driver's license / vehicle insurance to drive on base.
• Ability to oversee and audit supply and accountability procedures of all departments under contract
• Ability to multi-task and employ problem-solving skills.
• Ability to take the initiative in problem-solving and achieve organizational goals with minimal oversight.
DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Products
• Basic computer data entry skills required for use of databases.
• Familiarity with military and commercial logistics supply systems and automated and manual supply systems standards and criteria.
