GENERAL FUNCTION / SUMMARY

We're looking for a tech-savvy and solution-oriented Prompt & Automation Engineer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of AI, automation, and operations-using tools like ChatGPT, Zapier, Make (Integromat), Power Automate, or n8n to solve real-world problems without heavy coding.

You'll design, test, and optimize AI-powered workflows that boost productivity, streamline processes, and improve decision-making across teams.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design and implement automated workflows using NoCode or low-code platforms like Zapier, Power Automate, or n8n.
  • Create and refine prompt templates for various AI models (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) to generate high-quality outputs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify pain points and opportunities for AI-driven solutions.
  • Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot existing workflows to ensure accuracy, reliability, and performance.
  • Stay updated with the latest in large language models (LLMs) capabilities and prompt engineering best practices.
  • Evaluate and test new AI tools, APIs, and automation platforms.
  • Document workflows and provide training or guidance for team members using automation
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • 3+ years of experience in a technical, operations, or automation-focused role
  • Hands-on experience with NoCode automation tools like Zapier, Make (Integromat), Power Automate, or n8n
  • Familiarity with prompt engineering and how to structure effective prompts for AI models (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini)
  • Understanding of APIs, webhooks, and working with structured data formats like JSON
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive mindset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable working across teams
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Cohere) or frameworks like LangChain
  • Basic knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python or JavaScript)
  • Exposure to data tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • Background in process improvement, business operations, or digital transformation
