A dynamic hospitality client is in search of a Promotions Marketing Specialist to enhance their product and promotions team. This role is essential in driving promotional strategies and optimizing inventory. Join us to make a significant impact.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Collaborate with the Promotions and Revenue Management teams, along with other stakeholders, to design and implement promotional campaigns that maximize occupancy and revenue.
- Analyze and report on the effectiveness of pricing strategies, promotional offers, and combinations across various products and channels.
- Work alongside the Revenue Management team and Sales to evaluate incentive programs, specific promotional campaigns, and report on their effectiveness.
- Provide accurate monthly information on promotional dates and prices, including terms and conditions, for promotional flyers and website landing pages, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Monitor the website for promotion-specific content and verify the accuracy of marketing and sales collateral regarding retail pricing and promotional details.
- Conduct competitive analysis to understand competitor pricing, policies, promotions, and product offerings.
- Maintain essential marketing dates, pricing files, and promotional resources utilized by multiple departments.
QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university, or one to two years of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with reservation and inventory management systems is a plus.
- 4+ years of experience in marketing, revenue management, business operations, or a related analytical role.
- Strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint are required.
