Under the supervision of the Station Manager, the Promotions Director & Technical Producer is responsible for developing listener events and initiatives that support the mission of Moody Radio and serve as the technical producer of Mornings with Tom and Tabi.

- Develop, plan, and execute local listener engagement efforts such as community outreach events, concerts, conferences, remote broadcasts, contests, and related initiatives in accordance with Moody Radio goals and values.
- Coordinate national promotional efforts in partnership with the national promotions staff
- Be alert to potential partnerships or underwriting opportunities
- Respond to listener posts and private messages via social media, email, web forms, text, and telephone messages daily
- Firm understanding of morning show clocks
- Strong console production skills with a keen ear to facilitate a pleasing listener experience
- Seamlessly operate On Air broadcast software with excellence
- Ability to give and receive non-verbal communication
- Personally exercise the fruit of the Spirit in a fast-paced live On-Air environment
- Perform related duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements- High School Diploma.
- Proficient in live studio production.
- Strong reading, writing, and speaking skills.
- Ability to work without close supervision.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Gmail, and other related office software. Maintain ethical broadcast standards.
- Possess a personal growing relationship with Jesus.
- Ability to develop rapport with listeners and coworkers.
- Strong ability to develop, organize, and execute events and initiatives.
- Able to maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate station events and activities.
- Able to work in the US legally without sponsorship
Preferred Requirements- Associate's degree or two years' experience in a related field.
- Talented production skills using broadcast automation software, console, and related computer applications.
- Proficient with social media outlets such as Facebook, twitter, and Instagram.
- General knowledge and understanding of radio and FCC rules pertaining to non-commercial stations.

This job operates in a professional broadcasting environment. This role routinely uses standard office and broadcast equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
This is a full-time position: Monday through Friday, 5:30am to 2:00pm. Split shift required on days with station events. Local travel is normal for this position. National travel is minimal for this position.
