Job Title: Promotions and Programming Coordinator

Department: Operations

Reports To: General Manager

Summary:

Bavarian Bierhaus at Opry Mills Mall is seeking an energetic and passionate Promotions and Programming Coordinator to elevate our guest experience through engaging events, lively entertainment, and authentic German traditions. This role will be responsible for curating a vibrant atmosphere that fosters community, encourages repeat visits, and drives revenue growth.

Responsibilities:

Event Planning and Execution:

Conceptualize, plan, and execute a diverse calendar of events, including seasonal celebrations, holiday festivities, vendor-sponsored promotions, and traditional German activities (e.g., Masskrugstemmen competitions, keg tappings).

Collaborate with the Marketing and Operations teams to ensure events are effectively promoted and executed within budget.

Manage all logistical aspects of events, including vendor coordination, securing necessary permits, and coordinating with internal teams (e.g., kitchen staff, bar staff).

Entertainment Programming:

Develop and implement a captivating entertainment program that complements the Bavarian Bierhaus brand and appeals to a diverse audience.

Collaborate with musicians and sound technicians to create a lively and authentic atmosphere.

Oversee the scheduling and management of all live music performances.

Atmosphere and Décor:

Ensure the restaurant is appropriately decorated and themed to reflect seasonal events and German traditions.

Work with Operations team to develop plan and execute.

Maintain a welcoming and festive ambiance throughout the restaurant.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in event planning and execution, preferably in a hospitality or entertainment setting.

Strong understanding of German culture and traditions is a plus.

Excellent organizational and project management skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Passion for creating memorable guest experiences.

Some music background is a plus, but a willingness to learn is essential.
