We are seeking to appoint a Projects and Compliance Officer to join our team in the Graduate School for a fixed term contract of 2 years.
The Graduate School offers a dedicated service to all postgraduate research students within the University across all 5 academic schools. The Graduate School has 4 teams: Admissions, Lifecycle, Culture and Development and Exams.
This post sits within the exams team, overseeing and contributing to all final examination arrangements and processes, with additional responsibility for managing current projects and partnerships. Acting as a point of contact for advice and support on compliance and regulatory matters, internally and externally.
You will play a pivotal part in supporting the Graduate School Manager in ensuring operational success in the delivery of our examinations processes, service to our students and supporting project and partnership academic leads throughout to the University.
The role will assist with the administrative support where bids and contracts require it, working closely with the Dean of the Graduate School, Graduate School Manager, and RIKE. This will include organising and providing project information and financial data to support operational and strategic decision making for the School.
Significant recent administrative experience and being able to demonstrate attention to detail, interpersonal skills, excellent organisation and the ability to work with different systems is essential for this role. You will have the ability to provide a high level of customer service to our postgraduate research students ensuring the smooth running of the end of their research journey. Operational knowledge of project administration, understanding of internal and external compliance/financial regulations is also a requirement of the role.
You will be educated to degree level or have equivalent educational/work based experience and excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Teams and Excel.
