Project Test Engineer

Architect testing solutions at the project level. Design test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures. Plan test schedules in accordance with project scope and delivery dates. Participate in the development of automated testing strategies and frameworks. Lead the design and implementation of product and system test set-ups. Estimate, plan, develop, and execute test suites, test cases, and automated tests to ensure functional test coverage. Report on problems encountered and document test procedures to ensure replicability and compliance with standards. Provide feedback and recommendations after reviewing documents, designs, code, test cases, and user documentation. Develop and specify standards, methods, and procedures to determine product quality or release readiness. Gain and maintain the support of stakeholders and decision makers. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Must have a bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, and 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate related work experience. Alternatively, must have a masters degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience. Must have 3 years of experience in each of the following: Test planning, test strategizing, test management, and test execution; and Unit testing, integration testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Must have 2 years of experience in each of the following: Designing, developing, and implementing software development processes using JAMA, Jira, qTest, Jenkins, GitLab, or Visual Studio; and Designing and implementing test automation scripts utilizing the following test automation tools or frameworks: Test Caf, Test Script, or C . Must have 1 year of experience in architecting modular software. Telecommuting permitted up to 60%. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.
