Job Overview:
We are seeking an Project Site Engineer to oversee the technical aspects of substation construction projects. This role will act as the main on-site expert, ensuring construction activities meet design specifications and industry standards. You'll collaborate closely with the construction team and serve as a direct link to the engineering team for resolving technical issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical guidance to construction crews and subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with design specifications, industry standards, and regulations.
- Address construction issues and collaborate with the engineering team to resolve them.
- Manage project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, and field markups.
- Monitor risks and implement preventive measures to avoid delays and cost overruns.
- Report progress and open issues to the Project Engineering Manager and Project Manager.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in high-voltage substation construction.
- Strong expertise in electrical systems, substation design, and grounding.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Compensation:
- Salary: $120k-140k
