Project Scheduler Job Category: Project and Program Management Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Top Secret Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 25% Type of Travel: Continental US The Opportunity: Responsible for supporting the Program Manager in establishing a resource loaded integrated master schedule (IMS) and maintaining / updating the schedule for the program period of performance. Responsibilities:
Able to travel on-site to Ft Belvoir, VA at customer location as needed.
Create, monitor, and analyze project schedules in accordance with standard of best project practice
Load program resources into the IMS and maintain budget and forecast of resources in the IMS.
Track, analyze, and report information appropriately to allow the project teams to manage their projects and evaluate weekly reports
Maintain the program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and provide updates to the customer.
Ensure accuracy of project schedules and performed version control
Co-ordinate project schedules, tasks, meeting updates, and efficient distribution of reports
Prepare, implement, and monitor scopes of work using Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for control and integrity
Monitor projects' progress, including identifying critical activities and reviewing forecasts and progress achieved to date
Track baselines, perform what-if analysis, and develop contingency plans
Qualifications: Required
Bachelor's Degree. Additional four (4) years of relevant experience allowed in lieu of degree
Five (5) years IMS experience with at least two (2) years leading scheduling personnel
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Project (Server or Online) a requirement, with Microsoft Project certification(s) preferred
Demonstrated experience on programs with responsibility for development and execution of the IMS, including setup, baseline management and update/maintenance, schedule analysis, critical path analysis, Schedule Risk Assesments, and CDRL deliveries
Experience with schedule health metrics (e.g., DCMA 14-point check) and Schedule Metric Analysis - such as BEI, CPLI, SPI, etc.

Must be able to travel to Fort Belvoir, VA and available onsite at Customer location as required.

Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) or an equivalent certification / work experience
