The Role
The main purpose of this role is to coordinate and deliver projects, generate income, save costs, and liaise with internal teams, partners, and community groups regarding the Council's climate change and carbon reduction initiatives. The Council has a Climate Change and Carbon Reduction Plan aimed at reducing its carbon emissions through various measures, while pursuing income-generating or cost-saving opportunities.
Qualifications and Knowledge
- Educated to degree level (or equivalent).
- Knowledge of environmental issues related to sustainability and climate change.
Additional Information
- This is a part-time post of 18.5 hours per week.
- You will be required to provide a suitable vehicle for this post.
- This role may require physical effort and mobility on a frequent basis.
- Flexible approach to working hours, including availability for evening meetings or occasional Saturdays.
