Location of Employment: 8455 Colesville Road, 15th Floor, Silver Spring, MD 20910 Position Title: Project Managers Duties: Perform engineering duties in planning, managing, and overseeing the construction and maintenance of structures and facilities such as office buildings, multi-family residential, high-rise structures, roads and railways, airports, harbors, educational facilities, data centers, power facilities, and other large-scale construction projects. Design, develop, and evaluate integrated systems for managing projects, including schedule planning, logistics, and material flow, cost and resource analysis, risk mitigation, and production coordination. Review project documents and specifications to accurately develop schedules which include all required logistical planning, risks, dates, activities, and milestones. Plan and establish sequence of operations to promote efficient utilization of the design, construction, and close out phases of construction. Develop, maintain, and monitor construction Critical Path Method schedules, review production schedules, engineering specifications, orders, and related information. Work with an internal team of professionals along with client project managers, constructions professionals, and project stakeholders, to develop, manage, and monitor schedules, costs, resources, risks, and project control systems throughout a projects lifecycle. Multiple positions available. Work will involve travel to various client sites across the United States. Up to 30% domestic travel. Days/Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week) Requirements: Position requires a Bachelors in Engineering (with preference towards civil engineering, structural engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, construction engineering) or a Bachelors in Construction Management or any related field or foreign equivalent. Plus the following skills: Ability to read construction drawings, a detailed understanding of logistical planning; an understanding of risk mitigation practices, management of fragnets, preparations of Time Impact Analyses, periodic cost and resource analysis of performance to identify schedule trends; resource and earned value planning management; understanding of common construction methodologies; use of scheduling softwares for all aspects of project scheduling with preference for Oracle Primavera products; analysis and review of production schedules, engineering specifications, orders, and complex project documents to accurately develop baseline schedules; and analysis and review of progress information, schedule changes, risk planning, cost and resource usage. Skills may be gained through academic coursework or projects and concurrently while pursuing academic studies. Rate of Pay: $87,173.00 per year.
