Title: Project Manager Location: Washington D.C., Merrifield, VA Security Clearance: Must have an active TS/SCI clearance or be SCI eligible with a TS clearance Schedule: Due to the nature of law enforcement work and operation, position may require occasional support outside of core working hours, as well as intermittent weekend support, mission dependent. Job Summary: Project Manager to oversee and coordinate the operations of the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force (OCDETF) program: State and Local Overtime Program. Provide program-level support to the nine OCDETF Regions within the State and Local Overtime Program. Strike Force Operational Expense Program. Provide program-level support to the nineteen OCDETF Strike Forces, within the Strike Force Operational Program. Training Development and Execution. Providing Training to all Joint Law Enforcement Operations Participants. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Oversee and manage a project or multiple projects, from inception to deployment.
Ensure that all parties, including top management, rank-and-file employees, contractor management, and employees are kept appraised as to all pertinent information and requirements.
Provide guidance and direction in multiple tasks across several functional areas.
Responsible for overall contractor performance. Minimum Qualifications & Skills: Bachelors Degree
Minimum 10 years of project management experience with a Federal Law Enforcement Agency.
OCDETF Program experience preferred
Must have an active TS/SCI clearance or be SCI eligible with a TS clearance
Experience in law enforcement is required
Deep familiarity with OCDETF Field and Executive Office operations, federal drug enforcement procedures, and task force coordination is highly desired.
Ability to demonstrate exceptional written and oral communication skills
Ability to work with individuals at all levels
Ability to plan and organize complex work effectively
Ability to supervise employees Clearance: Applicants selected may be subject to a government background investigation and may be required to meet the following conditions of employment. Security Requirements/Background Investigation Requirements: Must be a U.S Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident.
Favorable credit check for all cleared positions
Successfully passing a background investigation including drug screening. Physical Requirements/Working Conditions: Standing/Walking/Mobility: Must have mobility to attend meetings with other managers and employees. Standing for prolonged and extended periods of time.
Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling: 0% - 10% of the time.
Lifting/Pulling/Pushing: 0% - 10% of the time.
Fingering/Grasping/Feeling: Must be able to write, type and use a telephone system 100% of the time.
Sitting: Sitting for prolonged and extended periods of time.
