About the role:
We're seeking a Technology Project Manager to oversee all aspects of a project from planning to execution through to implementation and transition.
You'll join an innovative team, who works across business changes, process capabilities and technical changes to produce holistic business solutions.

Day-to-day, you will: - Develop full scale project management plans including project timelines, milestones, resource needs using appropriate project management tools to deliver effective results.
- Manage all project phases end-to-end, from requirements analysis, solution design, development, testing, training, implementation and transition in accordance with the project methodology to meet business objectives.
- Provide regular reporting, status, and metrics in accordance with project management best practices, including as appropriate earned value approach, burndown, velocity, demand/capacity.
- Manage all processes involved in budgeting, monitoring and controlling of costs in accordance with Transurban's financial management guidelines.
- Provide leadership, daily support and guidance to project team members to foster a collaborative team environment.
- Plan project communication's strategy and effectively communicate project expectations to team members, stakeholders (internal and external), vendors and senior management.
- Identify, document and assess risks, issues and dependencies impacting the project, while also developing and implementing strategies to reduce all risks and resolve issues.
This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferable skills and experiences, including: - 5+ years experience in project management, with a strong background in leading large scale technology projects.
- Familiarity with networking and coding in Agile and a general understanding of system engineering/integration concepts, preferred.
- Experience working with technology vendors.
- Demonstrated success in leading cross functional project teams and influencing business leaders.
- Strong experience in managing budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Solid understanding of technology infrastructure, systems integration, and software development processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to think critically and creatively to solve complex problems and deliver high quality solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Finance or related field, preferred.
