Description
- Lead K-12 school construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery.
- Manage budgets, schedules, and project documentation to meet district and state requirements.
- Oversee DSA approval processes, ensuring compliance with school construction regulations.
- Coordinate with school districts, architects, engineers, and regulatory agencies.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring minimal disruption to school operations.
- Implement and enforce job site safety protocols, prioritizing school community safety.
- Lead and mentor project teams, including Project Managers, Engineers, and Superintendents.
- Manage subcontractor relationships, procurement, and quality control to maintain high standards.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders, providing status updates and addressing project challenges.
Profile
- 10+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on K-12 construction.
- Extensive experience in DSA-regulated projects, ensuring code compliance and approvals.
- Proven ability to manage projects ranging from $20M to $150M+ in value.
- Strong knowledge of school construction logistics, safety regulations, and scheduling.
- Proficiency in Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, and other project management tools.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate construction activities in active school environments with minimal disruption.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
