Project Manager- Space Craft with Security Clearance

All qualified resumes will be responded to in 24hs or less This is on site 100% in Houston TX Senior Project Manager lead a small team of engineers focused on product development, continuous improvement initiatives, and testing. The ideal candidate is a highly engaged, hands-on engineering leader who can work with-in aggressive schedules 5+ years Aerospace experience preferred. 15+ years overall experience required. PMP certification and EVMS experience desired. Primary Responsibilities: Responsible for the design, development, and testing of team-assigned deliverables Coordination with cross-functional program leaders within Engineering and across functions Active participation in design reviews in accordance with department policy, customer requirements, and contractual specifications Development of employee personal development plans, and team/department level succession planning Ensure adherence to department and company policies, ethics and regulatory compliance, and contractual specifications Provide recommendations and resources for continuous improvement activities Lead team in all aspects of product design and development life cycle including requirement capture, detailed design, layout, test and verification activities focused on space domain product design Collaborate cross-functionally with systems engineering, safety and reliability team members, and discipline-aligned design teams to achieve elegant and reliable solutions Provide design support for internal and customer funded R&D projects Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (typically in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws / regulations OR Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years' experience OR In absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience is required Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident "Green Card" holder Subject to drug and alcohol testing
