Our UK Infrastructure Project Delivery Practice (PDP) is the centre of excellence for infrastructure delivery. With recent wins in Water and Defence markets, we have exciting opportunities for Project Managers and Senior Project Managers to join our expanding team in Glasgow.

Your Role

Your role will involve managing project delivery services for our water and defence clients, supporting team growth in defence projects, and ensuring high client satisfaction through high-quality project and commercial management services. As a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager, you will oversee the delivery of major multi-disciplinary design projects across various market sectors.

Your Responsibilities
  1. Deliver projects successfully within agreed targets for schedule, budget, and quality.
  2. Define project objectives and develop strategies to achieve them.
  3. Identify and manage potential contractual or commercial risks.
  4. Lead and motivate the project team, providing coaching and guidance.
  5. Coordinate communication with clients, team members, subcontractors, and partners.
  6. Develop and own the project delivery programme and plans.
  7. Protect AtkinsRéalis's commercial interests, including invoicing and credit control.
  8. Monitor revenue and costs, identify risks, and report using Earned Value Management.
  9. Close out projects effectively, archive documentation, and capture lessons learned.
  10. Support business development activities aligned with market strategies.
Candidate Requirements
  1. Degree qualification with experience managing design or build contracts on large infrastructure projects.
  2. Chartered Engineer, Scientist, or Project Manager.
  3. Experience in Water and/or Defence Infrastructure is advantageous.
  4. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  5. Leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
  6. Experience with NEC3 or NEC4 contracts.
  7. Self-motivated, capable of working independently and in teams.
  8. Strong client relationship management skills.
  9. Supportive approach to mentoring team members.
  10. Ability to adapt to different cultures and environments.
