Project Manager/Scrum Master

Client is looking for a Project Manager/Scrum Master leading a team of support personnel in the O&M support of their MetroPulse applications.

MetroPulse is an intuitive application that empowers Client riders with seamless trip planning, real-time updates, and personalized transit support across web and mobile platforms.

Web version planned once Phone release 1.0 complete.This requesition is for the Project Manager/Scrum Master. This role is responsible for leading a team of support personnel in the O&M support of Client's MetroPulse applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Project Management in mobile application development, as well as experience in leading and managing projects.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Work with Product Management team to define requirements pipeline to consolidate products and priorities.

• Plan with stakeholders for gathering specs on functional and non-functional features and plan for PI event from prioritized product value stream.

• Collaborate with Client, Product Management, Enterprise Architects to understand the functionality implications, work intake channels and data sources.

• Overseeing multiple new initiatives using Agile methodology, ensuring timely delivery through agile execution methodologies. Devised service/process blueprints and evaluated platforms such as Jira Service Management and ServiceNow platform optimization for modernization.

• Participating and oversight in the Product Backlog grooming for effective planningand prioritization.

• Collaborating with product management team and users to understand the stories and technical implications of implementation.

• Working with scrum masters, scrum teams are enabling them in writing epics, stories, Definition of done,

• Collaborating with Jira admins to create new schema, field mapping, configuring transition and actions in the Jira workflow to set the right process for the team to deliver the status.

• Created portfolio dashboard, Team level Kanban board for each product line to track the daily activities and progress across the projects.

• Manage program risks, issues, day-to-day completion statuses to the senior client leadership to ensure product lines are tracked as planned via Jira kanban.

• Collaborated with C-suite & sponsors, Portfolio leadership in strategizing and delivery of critical and operational delivery requirements, Metrics and delivering the status of the program for delivery & Process Excellence.

• Playing Agile coach role and lead enterprise-wide training strategy on Kanban and Agile principles

Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, business administration, or a related field

• Strong leadership and team management skills are vital to effectively guide project teams and coordinate with stakeholders at all levels.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary for clear and effective communication with team members and stakeholders,

• The ability to identify and address project-related challenges, risks, and issues proactively is important in ensuring project success.

• Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or a hybrid approach is beneficial, as different projects may require different methodologies.

• Preparing and supporting procurement related artifacts, including COTR support related to vendor contract activities and of procurements for phases.

• Experience in managing mobile application development.

Preferred Requirements:

• Scrum certified.

• Experience in working mobile application development projects

• Experience in Transit applications and systems.

• Experience with Azure based backend projects.
