The Project Manager will work on multiple JOC and K-12 projects throughout the Chicagoland area, focusing on municipal and educational facilities. They will oversee several projects simultaneously and collaborate closely with a dedicated team of a Senior Project Manager, Superintendents, and Assistant Project Managers specializing exclusively in JOC and K-12 work.

Description

  • Develop detailed project plans, including time-lines, budgets, and resource requirements
  • Only on-site one day a week, in office for other 4.
  • Ability to estimate during the project
  • Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure successful project completion
  • Ensure that projects are completed within the scope, time-line, and budget outlined in the project plan
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including project schedules, and progress reports

Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management
  • 5+ years of experience in Construction
  • Have run multiple projects from conception to completion
  • Excellent communication skills with various parties including management, subcontractors, consultants, architects, vendors, and clients
  • JOC experience is not required
  • Estimating experience preferred
