The Opportunity: West Liberty University is seeking applications for a Project Manager. The Project Manager is responsible for planning, analysis, implementation and introduction of projects through completion. Responsible to plan, initiate, manage, monitor and control, and close out projects. Maintains and communicates reports of project status, manages the project change process, manages expectations, and identifies opportunities for new projects. Escalates issues that impact scope, timing, or budget and works with them to obtain additional resources as needed during project lifecycle. The Project Manager is expected to be familiar with tools & machinery. There is an expectation for the Project Manager to work alongside the team assigned to a project. Essential Functions of the position: Project Management: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand the project goals, deliverables, and deadlines. Allocate resources and responsibilities to team members based on skills and project needs. Create strategies to minimize impact when faced with obstacles/challenges. Team Building: Hold team meetings to track progress, resolve issues, and ensure effective communication. Maintain communication with stakeholders, providing updates regularly. Budget Management: Oversee project costs. Ensure resources are being used efficiently. Monitor progress, adjusting timelines on project plan when necessary. Quality Management: Monitor the quality of project deliverables to ensure they meet established requirements, code, etc. Communicate and report to stakeholders regularly. Evaluate performance against objectives and deliverables. Education & Experience Requirements: Associate degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field required. Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
