Based in either Bury St Edmunds, Stevenage, or Colchester, you will have the flexibility of blended working - 3 days in the office and 2 remotely after a 6-month probationary period.

Join us in shaping the future of the UK's power network. As the Project Manager, you will report directly to the Portfolio Manager, managing projects from inception to completion. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, cost-effective projects while maintaining the highest levels of safety and environmental management. Your duties will include construction assurance, auditing quality of work, technical competencies, and compliance with specifications and procedures.

You will produce delivery plans, ensure provision of resources, materials, and services, and manage commercial arrangements with contractors. Regular reporting, identifying and managing project risks, and liaising with key stakeholders are integral parts of this role. Your leadership will ensure that projects are carried out with exceptional customer service, minimizing interruptions and complaints.

With a robust background in managing construction or engineering projects valued at 10m plus, ideally holding a degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering, you will be equipped to handle the complexities of this role. A safety qualification such as IOSH Managing Safely and experience with CDM regulations will be advantageous. Knowledge of Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and formal project management qualifications are preferred.

Our Investment Delivery team is dedicated to programme management, working with framework contractors and National Grid. You will lead a multi-disciplinary project team, ensuring all functions of project delivery are in place, from scope of work to resource planning and capital approval.
