Project Manager

A health tech company in San Diego, CA is actively seeking a new Project Manager to lead the end-to-end implementation of a Laboratory Information System (LIS) for the company's clinical (CLIA) lab operations.

About the Opportunity:

• Start Date: ASAP
• Assignment Length: 6+ month (possible extension)
• Location: Onsite, San Diego, CA

Responsibilities:

• Own the full project lifecycle from planning to execution for a new LIS implementation
• Collaborate closely with a Business Project Manager and oversee coordination with a Vendor Project Manager
• Lead governance and steering committee meetings with executive-level stakeholders
• Manage project cadence and ensure milestones are met on time and within budget

Qualifications:

• Experience with Project Planning & Execution
• Proven experience implementing a LIS
• Strong knowledge of Quality Validation processes and Project Verification testing
• Executive presence and ability to communicate with senior leadership

• Hands-on experience in all core Project Management disciplines, including:

• Project planning & execution
• Budget & resource management
• Team leadership
• Risk & issue mitigation

Desired Skills:

• Experience in a Clinical and/or CLIA Lab environment
