Bizzell US is seeking two experienced Project Managers to lead the successful execution of complex IT initiatives within the FOH IT support services program. Each Project Manager will be responsible for managing task-specific delivery-one with a focus on IT infrastructure and systems administration, and the other on application development and enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, Power Platform, and SharePoint.
This role requires deep experience in federal IT program delivery, schedule development, and cross-functional team coordination.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & Execution - Develop and maintain project work breakdown structures (WBS), schedules, and resource plans.
- Oversee end-to-end lifecycle for assigned workstreams from initiation to closeout.
- Define and track milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure alignment with the Integrated Project Management Plan (IPMP) and contract requirements.
Team Coordination - Lead day-to-day operations across technical teams including developers, system administrators, cybersecurity staff, and platform specialists.
- Coordinate activities and dependencies across internal teams, subcontractors, and government stakeholders.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and backlog grooming where applicable.
Client & Stakeholder Communication - Serve as the primary liaison for specific task areas with Government Task Leads.
- Present regular project updates, risk status, and performance metrics during stakeholder meetings.
- Ensure transparency and responsiveness to evolving customer needs and mission priorities.
Performance & Compliance Monitoring - Monitor performance against SLAs and quality targets as outlined in the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP).
- Contribute to bi-weekly project management meetings and integrated status reporting.
- Ensure workstream adherence to HHS IT standards, cybersecurity policies, and documentation practices.
Requirements
Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience managing IT projects, with at least 3 in a federal government environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and oversee multiple concurrent tasks.
- Experience using Microsoft Project, JIRA, or similar project tracking tools.
- Familiarity with PMBOK, Agile, and federal IT governance frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications - Active or in-progress PMP certification or Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
- Experience managing federal application development, system maintenance, or platform integration projects.
- Hands-on familiarity with platforms such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, Power BI, or SharePoint.
- Experience supporting civilian health agencies such as HHS, NIH, or CMS.
Work Environment - Hybrid work environment with some on-site presence in Rockville, MD.
- Must be available during standard government business hours (7AM-6PM EST).
