Job Summary:
Provide direction and management for all project phases to assure on-time completion within budget and in accordance with contractual obligations. Plan and define individual project goals and devise methods to accomplish them within the contract terms and corporate policies, while developing an in-depth knowledge of client objectives. Monitor, coordinate, and document project flow and history in an organized manner to ensure customer satisfaction and corporate objectives.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Manage customer sales orders/projects from order award through equipment installation/start-up and customer remittance, providing a single point of contact for customers after receipt of project order.
- Collect and organize all project-related information, including proposal files, order processing information, and e-mails upon project award.
- Track projects using SAP, Microsoft Project, Excel, etc.
- Develop budgets, schedules, and plans for various project elements, ensuring goals are met or exceeded.
- Establish design criteria and preliminary engineering, monitoring final engineering and construction adherence.
- Mobilize engineering design, documentation control, and support personnel as needed.
- Coordinate activities between the Purchasing Department and sub-vendors, acting as the Company representative with the customer and vendors during project execution.
- Monitor, document, and report project progress, including significant milestones and conditions affecting cost or schedule.
- Negotiate scope of work changes with customers and report on prospects for additional work.
- Devise and execute action plans for potential project cost overruns, advising the customer and division management of changes.
- Promote technical excellence and further the Quality Improvement Process.
- Update and post Project Status reports for active projects.
- Verify terms and conditions with Corporate Legal and ensure adherence.
- Coordinate activities and arrangements for all factory visitors relating to a project, including Factory Acceptance Tests or other inspections.
- Assist in the continuous development of the Project Management Department.

Required Qualifications:
College degree in Engineering or Business preferred; Associate degree or minimum three years equivalent experience, with strong written and oral communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including MS Project and SAP, is required.
